Birth-3 Weeks
Our whelping areas are well equipped to keep our moms and pups comfortable and also close to us humans at all times. We have researched and implemented the best whelping and care practices to ensure your pup has the best care from the start. We are committed to the health and safety of all the animals in our care. We believe this is possible by providing quality facilities, supplies, and health care. This area is monitored continuously and the temperature is kept at an optimal setting. We have installed pig rails to prevent mom from squashing a puppy, flooring that provides comfort and optimal traction for puppies to get the very best start. There are no loose blankets and the puppies always have access to a warmer portion of the box. We are prepared for any emergency and available to assist 24/7. We begin early neurological stimulation from day 1 (Puppy Culture). We believe in the science of this program and strive to take advantage of your puppy's first 8 weeks. It's during this time their brains can absorb so much. It is our goal to use this time to everyone's advantage so that your puppy is best prepared for his/her forever home. While it's important that we hand over a healthy and well-fed pup, it's also important that we hand over a puppy that is well socialized, not timid, and introduced to basic skills.
3-6 weeks
Potty training, puppy food, and playtime begin! This is also the period that the Early Neurological Program (Puppy Culture) ramps up and we see so much growth physically and mentally. We move our pups to a more central area of our house where they are exposed to constant sounds, people, and things. They have access to open crates at this time as they ease into transitioning to being crated at night. They get loved on a daily and will never know anything other than the best care. We gradually increase our space to assist in potty training and rotate toys/activities so no pups get bored. We feed our pups high-quality puppy food.
6-8 weeks
Pups are well weaned, potty box training gets better every day, and we begin putting pups into their crates at night. This helps with the transition to their forever home. They are vet checked, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated.
We love every moment of watching these puppies grow and we are so happy to take you along on this journey. We are active on social media and strive to keep in contact through text or email every step along the way. Please feel free to check in for pup updates or ask any questions you may have. You are never bugging us! Our puppy families are seriously one of the best parts of this gig. I look forward to updating you and in turn, I hope that I get updates for many years ahead if you choose to share.
